Lombard International Assurance SA is market leader in ‘Privatbancassurance’, a concept which combines private banking and investment management services with the sophisticated use of life assurance as a financial planning structure to achieve fiscal advantages and security for wealthy investors and their families.

In January 2008, in order to face his development in Luxembourg, Lombard International Assurance asked Forworx for a “Stay or Go” analysis.

Further to this study, a property research mission and a comparison between various scenarios were conducted by Forworx.

Forworx helped Lombard in this process, which led to a lease contract negotiation in Findel Office Park.
By the end of 2009, Lombard will settle in the premises of the Da Vinci building, previously occupied by the IEB, owned by Union Investment Real Estate AG. “We finally chose the Findel Office Park, which image is more in line with our company” said Jurgen Vanhoenhacker, Executive Director.

The outfitting works started under the leadership of Francis Broker, Facility Manager by Lombard. “Forworx advised us in technical matters and budgets elaboration. Their upstream work gave us a clear vision of the risks and issues, the challenge will be to ensure the transition to the future”.

Lombard will occupy 6.200 sqm at first and the rest of the building according to its growth.
